Colour and Nude Study

How colour pigments behave in relation to one another is determined by the physical subtraction of light, by chemical compatibility, and by optical properties such as grain size, density and transparency. In mixing, the pigments absorb particular wavelengths of light and reflect others, and out of that new colours arise.
