At the fifth Art Night, too, the old town of Passau showed itself at its best. Thousands of visitors strolled through the packed lanes on the night from Friday to Saturday, lanes that had turned into one great stage for art. Some 50 artists exhibited their work at more than 30 different venues. The highlight of this year's Art Night, though, was to be admired at the Kulturmodell: art video international meets ping-pong performance, with international artists and their videos — Jop Arsianto (Indonesia), Franz Hintermann (Germany), John J. Hansen (Denmark), Christian F.J. König (Austria), Darjot B. Darson (Indonesia), Dion Laurent (USA) and Luis Ramirez (Mexico). Here one could experience the fascination of art at first hand.
