Interview appointments with the artist are arranged through the press contact. Enquiries about acquisitions, prices and studio visits outside of press coverage go directly to atelier@art-koenig.at.

Use of the image material

The material provided may be used free of charge, but solely in the context of current reporting on CFJ König and the art book FREI/RAUM, and only with the picture credits given in each case.

The reproductions show works of visual art protected by copyright (§ 3 of the Austrian Copyright Act). No image may be cropped, overprinted, altered in colour, distorted or edited in any other way — an altered reproduction no longer shows the work. Details and crops only by prior arrangement.

Any use beyond this — cover images, book publications, merchandise, advertising — requires the prior written consent of the artist. Please direct such requests to the press contact.

The art book FREI/RAUM

Press release and images

The download area is being prepared. Until then we will send the press release and print-quality images on request — simply write to press@art-koenig.at, ideally stating your medium and intended publication date.

Planned: the press release as a PDF, a fact sheet with the key data and an image set at 300 dpi — views of the book, reproductions from several series of works, a portrait of the artist in his studio and a photograph of the pigments he grinds himself. Each file with caption and picture credit.

Press mailing list

Registration for the press mailing list is being set up. If you would like to receive announcements about publication and the book presentation, an informal message to press@art-koenig.at with your name and medium is enough for now.

The press list is separate from the studio newsletter — you will receive press releases only.

Photography and filming in the studio

Photography and filming in the studio are possible by arrangement. Please register your preferred date with the press contact a few days in advance; for works already in private ownership we clarify permission to photograph case by case.
