The Perchtoldsdorf Hütereinzug — locally the Hiataeinzug, the vineyard guards' procession — is deeply rooted in the identity of the Lower Austrian Thermenregion. Since its recognition in 2010 as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage it has officially counted as Austria's largest and most tradition-rich harvest festival. Its origins can be traced back historically to the early 15th century.
