Love of one's native country

Colour and emotion: compared with the fiery oranges or fresh greens of other works in the series, the artist works here with a many-layered spectrum. Warm earth tones, a soft dusty pink and sandy ochre dominate the background and convey a sense of shelter, permanence and historical ground.

Created in 2013 for the exhibition at Perchtoldsdorf Castle.
